This is how I earned mine.
Helping people is an essential attribute of coaching.
So, I am supporting my sister Hannah to raise funds for diabetes sufferers. Donations accepted here: https://lnkd.in/eusexUc
We are completing The One Million Step Challenge, an 800-mile endurance event, a professional recalibration opportunity, & daily wellness routine. An exercise in intentional learning, performance coaching & process management - the yields are many.
The Good:
9 weeks, and 1 million steps have passed. I have climbed a 14,000ft (4,300m) mountain, walked or run 516 miles (831km), learned to bake bread; learned to manage negativity; learned about types of flora, learned to interact with rattlesnakes; restored mental, spiritual, emotional & physical equilibrium.
The Bad:
a daily half marathon, 6 days a week is not all fun & can be painful. Prevention is priority or fix pain home.
The Ugly:
Change is real. Learning is real & unavoidable. Maybe a daily half marathon is not so bad.
In sum, challenge is fun. Get out & discover yourself.
