Setting & realizing sustainable goals is hugely rewarding.
I have always wanted to walk the length of the U.K. and recently I have been enduring a virtual journey raising funds for diabetes sufferers. (Donate here if you can: http://ow.ly/QjaD50BjhOg )
The Good:
There's only about 200 miles remaining; I have walked 637 miles (1025 km) through "Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty;" one day I will walk this in a non-virtual world. Walking towards a goal is a good way to achieve an outcome.
The Bad:
The end is in sight. It will be sad to finish. My Merrell shoes have taken a pounding (and held up well).
The Ugly.
Time to find a new goal. Might have to buy some new shoes.
I am looking forward to celebrating the win and& appreciate the support - stay tuned for the final crossing the line ceremony.
